Summer Art Camps for Ages 5 +

Choose one or more camps for budding artists, ages 5 and up. All camps meet Wednesday through Friday.

 

Very Creative Kids for ages 5 to 7
June 13 – 15
10 am – 1 pm

Finding inspiration in a few favorite children’s books, this camp will explore a variety of art mediums, including painting, collage, decoupage, and drawing. Children will create one-of-a-kind masterpieces inspired by artist-illustrator Eric Carle in this fun introduction to art. Register here.

Course fee is $85 plus $20 for materials.

Adventures in Clay for ages 5 to 7
July 11 – 13
10 am – 1 pm

Come join us for squeezable, squishable, moldable, get-your-hands-dirty clay week, making everything from rainforest lizards to silly creature mash-ups! With a dash of their own creativity, campers will make a variety of projects, using hand-building techniques like pinch pots, coils, and slabs. Register here.

Course fee is $85 plus $25 for materials.

Wild at Art for ages 5 to 7
July 18 – 20
10 am – 1 pm

This camp gives kids the chance to immerse themselves in the study of animals, their habitats, and their adventures.  Whether hand-building with clay, creating colorful collages, or exploring pastels, budding artists’ imaginations will take flight in this hands-on exploration of the natural world. Register here.

Paper Adventures for ages 5 to 10
August 8 – 10
10 am – 1 pm

Folding, cutting, painting, and gluing—we’ll explore the many ways that paper can be used to create amazing works of art. From bookmaking to origami and collage, this camp will allow both older and younger students to be challenged in creating artworks that start with a simple piece of paper. Register here.
