Explore some of the highlights of the GCMA sculpture collection in this exhibition that features work ranging from mid-19th century face vessels from Edgefield District to work created in the late 2010s. More than twenty artists are represented by almost sixty works, including six major sculptures by renowned wildlife artist Grainger McKoy, three mixed media examples by William Halsey, painted plaster busts cast from life by John Ahearn, and a magnificent bronze by Anna Hyatt Huntington. Works by Alison Saar, David Hare, Jasper Johns, Jose de Rivera, Lynda Benglis, and Jeanne Silverthorne are also featured.
